The Cool Hydro Therapy leg wraps are used for a cooling effect on both the front and hind legs, before or after training - or even during rehabilitation. They are designed to quickly and effectively cool the horse's tendons, reduce swelling and soreness, and treat soft tissue injuries.
Use the leg wraps after intense exertion, such as competition or rigorous training, to optimize recovery and minimize the risk of soreness, swelling, and inflammation.
The cooling wraps contain a type of microcrystals that, when soaked, transform into an effective cooling gel. When you soak the leg wraps, the microcrystals expand, fill the empty quilted space in the fabric, and create a soft, cooling gel cushion that surrounds all parts of the leg. This is done without in any way affecting the horse's mobility.
Furthermore, the cooling bandages are completely non-sticky and reusable because the gel is encapsulated in the fabric and returns to microcrystals when it dries. The leg wraps are held in place with practical Velcro fasteners.

Usage
Soak the cooling wraps in clean water for 24 hours before the first use. Then soak them in cold clean water for at least 60 minutes before treatment. In very hot weather or for extra cooling effect, you can place the wraps in the refrigerator after soaking.
Ensure that the legs are free from mud and other dirt.
Shake off excess water from the leg wraps.
Attach the cooling wraps with even, light pressure. Leave them on for about 20 minutes.
Rinse and let air dry after use.
With regular use, the cooling wraps can be stored continuously in a bucket of clean, cool water.
NOTE - Do not put the leg wraps in the freezer, as there is a risk of damaging them.
